Project title: Airport projects – short term & long term

Objectives:

• Short term
  • To regulate passenger/traffic flow within the airport.
  • Improve parking facilities for passengers.
  • Demarcate specific area for WiFi in domestic departure lounge.
  • Provide an improved design for toilet entrance.
• Long term
  • Provide adequate parking facilities for passengers / staff.
  • Streamline traffic flow into and within the airport.
  • Create mobility hub by integrating buses, suburban trains & Metro.Partners: Airport Authority of India  (AAI), Highways Department, Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) and Metro.

Key deliverable:

Since the areas suggested by CCCF have not been considered in the project, the cost will have to be worked out by the AAI projects team and approvals obtained to commence work:

• Assist AAI as part of their monitoring team to ensure that the issues of parking and traffic flow from /to and within the airport are addressed.
