Project Name: The Cycle Track Project

Project Objective: To create a stretch of road conforming to international specifications with respect to cycle track, pavements, drains and road intersections thereby making it safe for cyclists, pedestrians and enabling smooth flow of vehicles.

Project Details: This project was conceived as a “proof of concept” to exhibit the possibility of designing a world standard cycle track along with all the other road elements including pavement design, curb design, intersections design & traffic control.

The Anna nagar zone was chosen, because of an high cycle population and availability of other conducive road elements.
